Introduction to Vietnam

The investment can be made in an existing Vietnamese company or in a brand-new company set up by the main applicant. Under this stream, the applicant will not need a work permit as he/she will enjoy work permit exemption. Spouse and children under 18 are included in the application. The residence card issued to the investor and his family will be issued for up to 2 years renewable as long as the business activity is maintained.

- Obtain Investment Registration Certificate (IRC)
- Obtain Enterprise Registration Certificate (ERC)

Vietnam DT3 Foreign Investor Visa program – Investor (“DT3 Program”) is a program offered to foreign investor who plans to implement an investment project in Vietnam.
IS IT REQUIRED FOR SETTING UP OF A COMPANY IN VIETNAM?
The foreign investor can either set up a new legal entity or acquire the existing company in Vietnam
ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON THE NATIONALITIES APPLYING FOR THIS PROGRAM?
Foreign investors having nationality of the country being member of the World Trade Organization (WTO) are eligible to apply for this program.

4 – 6 months
DOES THE APPLICANT’S FAMILY ALSO BENEFIT FROM THE DT3 PROGRAM?
Yes, the foreign investor must obtain all required licenses/certificate before running the project.
